Saw: This gorgeous dinner-plate-sized hibiscus flower on Kenmore & Catalpa
Heard: A man waiting to cross the street on Broadway and Ardmore held his hand out to high-five a passing biker. When they accepted the proffered high-five he leapt into the air and good-naturedly slammed into the friend next to him, yelling, “YES! That made my whole WEEK dude!!”
Smelled: Disembodied cigarette smoke on Berwyn.
Tasted: The rain from Monday’s torrential downpour, which caught me TWICE and soaked me to the bone. 🫠
Touched: A firefly caught briefly on my hand before it flew away.
